The folks over at
Engadget Japan have recently reported a few facts about the PSP-3000, which was
officially announced a few days ago.
The new PSP will retain the same size and weight of the current PSP,
but it will have a built-in microphone and a high-quality LCD screen.
They are very happy to report that this new screen will have a response
time that is twice as fast as the current PSP, therefore, eliminating
the terrible afterimages such as ghosting & color bleeding.
Furthermore, the color and the contrast ratio of the screen have been
greatly improved. Moreover, the PSP will be initially sold in 3 color
variations: Piano Black, Pearl White, and Mystic Silver.
I myself have noticed the ghosting when playing a game or watching a
movie and feel the image quality does suffer. I'm not sure if it would
be the reason for buying another PSP. What do you think? Comment and
